Description
As a Business Productivity Solution Sales Specialist (BP SSP), the successful candidate will be a leader within the South Central enterprise sales team in qualifying, developing and managing Office and SharePoint sales opportunities. The BP SSP’s goals will be: Achieve Office and SharePoint revenue targets in assigned territories, Build a foundation for long term Office & SharePoint revenue growth in assigned territories, Ensure successful deployment of the Office platform (including advanced workloads) in assigned territories, Improve customer satisfaction in assigned accounts, Win key Search engagements, and develop and own key Vice President-level and Director-level relationships in assigned accounts. As a Business Productivity Solution Sales Specialist (BP SSP), the successful candidate will enjoy one of the most impactful positions within field sales. In addition to senior level interaction with our largest customers, the BP SSP will be a sought after resource by Microsoft account managers for their leadership in tough competitive IW situations and simultaneously work with Microsoft’s product development teams to share competitive insights and recommendations.
To be successful in this demanding role, the Business Productivity Solution Sales Specialist must possess world-class selling skills as well as solid business knowledge of both Microsoft and competitive collaboration and business productivity technologies. Successful candidates will have great communication and relationship-building skills, are sincerely customer focused, are action oriented, deal well with ambiguity, think strategically, and are self-starters. As a basis for success, candidates for this role should have 10 years of directly relevant sales experience. Candidates with sales experience in the Microsoft Information Worker platform are encouraged to apply. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:10+ years of related experience, Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint and competitive Information Worker platforms, Strong knowledge of competitive collaboration products & services/tools, strong negotiation, organizational, creative, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. A successful candidate should also be able to deliver persuasive presentations to both technical and business decision makers, have strong virtual teaming abilities, have exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to customer service and be knowledgeable in strategic planning, risk analysis and business justification. Bachelor’s degree is required.
Location can be either Austin or San Antonio.
